Your sign-in & your privacy
Lova uses secure sign-in with Apple, Google, or email. Your health data is a separate matter — it stays encrypted on your device and is never tied to your account.
Lova requires a sign-in so that only you can access your app — the same way Face ID or a PIN protects your phone. But your health records are a completely separate layer: they are stored encrypted on your device and are never uploaded to Lova's servers. Your account credentials and your health data are not linked on our end. We cannot access, read, or produce your health data — even if asked.
How this protects you
Sign-in protects you, not your data
Your Apple, Google, or email sign-in is used to prevent unauthorized access to the app. It is not connected to your health records. Lova never links your identity to your health data on our servers.
Health data stays on your device
Your cycles, symptoms, and health history are stored encrypted on your phone — not on Lova's servers. A breach of Lova's systems would not expose your health data because we never have it.
We can't read your health records
Because your health data is encrypted on your device and never uploaded, Lova cannot access, view, or produce it — even if compelled. What we can't see, we can't share.
Works offline
All health tracking and data works without an internet connection. Connectivity is needed only for sign-in and optional sync.
Delete everything, instantly
Deleting the app removes your health data from your device immediately. Because we never stored it, there is nothing on our servers to linger.
Which sign-in options are available?
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email. These providers handle authentication securely. Lova receives only what's needed to verify you are you — your health data is never part of that exchange.
If you're concerned about a specific provider, choose the one you trust most. The privacy of your health data does not depend on which sign-in you pick — it stays on your device regardless.
How does Lova make money?
What if I lose my phone?
Because your health data isn't backed up to Lova's servers, losing your phone without a backup means losing your data. We recommend exporting your data regularly, or enabling multi-device sync, so you always have a copy somewhere safe.
This is the honest trade-off of on-device privacy: we can't recover your data for you. But neither can anyone else.
