App Lock (PIN)
Add a PIN code so that even if someone picks up your phone, they can't open Lova and read your health data.
Why set a PIN?
Your phone's own screen lock protects apps in general, but Lova's PIN adds a second layer specifically for your health data. Even if a family member, partner, or colleague unlocks your phone, they still can't get into Lova without the PIN you chose.
It's especially useful if you share a device or live with people you'd rather not have access to your cycle information.

Setting up on iPhone (iOS)
- 1 Open Lova and tap the gear icon (Settings).
- 2 Tap "Privacy & Security".
- 3 Tap "App Lock", then "Enable PIN".
- 4 Choose a 4–6 digit code you'll remember.
- 5 Enter it again to confirm.
- 6 Done — Lova now locks itself when you close it.

Setting up on Android
- 1 Open Lova and tap the gear icon (Settings).
- 2 Tap "Privacy & Security".
- 3 Tap "App Lock", then "Enable PIN".
- 4 Enter your chosen 4–6 digit code.
- 5 Confirm it a second time.
- 6 Done — your PIN is active.
Auto-lock timing
Once your PIN is set, you can choose how quickly Lova locks itself:
Immediately
Locks as soon as you leave the app
After 1 minute
Good balance of security and convenience
After 5 minutes
Convenient for quick check-ins

Forgot your PIN?
If you forget your PIN, you can reset it from the lock screen by tapping "Forgot PIN". This will require you to verify your identity through your phone's own security (Face ID, fingerprint, or device passcode). Your health data is safe throughout — the reset only removes the Lova PIN, not your data.
