Lova is not yet available on the public Google Play Store. We are in early access — join the waitlist and we'll email you when your invite is ready. Early access members install via a direct APK or Google Play testing link (details below).

Steps to Get Lova on Android

1

Join the early access waitlist at lova.health

2

Receive your email invite with an installation link

3

Follow the instructions in the email to install Lova

4

Open Lova and follow the first-time setup guide

How Early Access Works on Android

Android early access builds are distributed as a direct install link (sometimes called an APK — think of it as an app installer file) or through Google Play's internal testing program. Your invite email will tell you which method applies to your invite.

Option A: Google Play Testing Link

  1. Open the link in your invite email on your Android phone
  2. You'll be taken to a special Google Play page for Lova testers
  3. Tap Join or Install
  4. Lova installs just like any Play Store app — no extra steps needed

Option B: Direct APK Install

If your invite includes a direct APK link, Android needs one quick permission before it can install it. Here's how:

  1. Open the download link from your invite email
  2. When prompted, tap Allow from this source (you may need to go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps and enable your browser)
  3. Tap Install when the install screen appears
  4. Once installed, tap Open
ℹ️

What does 'unknown apps' mean?

Android uses this label for any app not installed through the Play Store. It's a safety warning, not a sign anything is wrong. Lova's APK is signed and safe — we use the same security standards as Play Store apps.
💡

Sign in to get started

Lova uses secure sign-in with Apple, Google, or email to protect access to the app. Your health data is stored encrypted on your device — not on our servers — and is never linked to your account on our end.

System Requirements

  • Android 10 or later
  • About 50 MB of free storage
  • Works on phones and tablets

At Public Launch

When Lova launches publicly on the Google Play Store, installation will be the same as any other app — search for "Lova" and tap Install. Early access members will receive an email notification when this happens.

🔒

Your Privacy is Protected

Lova stores all your health data encrypted on your device only. We never upload it to our servers. Your sign-in credentials and your health data are kept entirely separate — Lova cannot access your health records.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive an invite email

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Make sure you joined the waitlist with the correct email address
  • Invites go out in batches — you may need to wait a little longer

The install was blocked by Google Play Protect

  • This can happen with APK installs. Tap More details, then Install anyway — Lova's APK is verified and safe
