Quick Overview
Long-press your home screen to enter edit mode
Tap the + or Widgets button
Search for Lova and choose a widget size
Place the widget on your home screen and tap Done
Available Widget Sizes
Lova offers a few widget sizes so you can choose how much information shows on your home screen:
- Small (2×2): Shows your cycle day number and a simple indicator of where you are (period / fertile window / luteal phase)
- Medium (4×2): Adds the predicted next period date and a small cycle ring visual
- Large (4×4): Full overview — cycle day, phase, next period countdown, and your recent log streak
Widgets Are Private by Default
Adding on iPhone (iOS)
- Long-press any empty space on your home screen until icons start to wobble
- Tap the + button in the top-left corner
- In the widget gallery that appears, scroll down or search for Lova
- Tap Lova to see the available sizes
- Swipe through the sizes and tap Add Widget on the one you want
- Drag it into position, then tap Done in the top-right corner
iPhone Lock Screen Widgets
On iPhone (iOS 16 and later) you can also add a small Lova widget to your lock screen:
- Long-press your lock screen and tap Customize
- Tap the widget area below the clock
- Scroll to find Lova and tap the widget to add it
- Tap Done
Adding on Android
The exact steps vary slightly by phone brand, but the general process is:
- Long-press an empty space on your home screen
- Tap Widgets (sometimes called "Add Widgets")
- Scroll to find Lova, or use the search box
- Long-press the widget size you want and drag it onto your home screen
- Release to place it, then tap anywhere outside to finish
Widget Not Showing Up?
Customising Widget Appearance
To change what a Lova widget displays after placing it:
- Long-press the widget on your home screen
- Tap Edit Widget (iOS) or Widget Settings (Android)
- Choose your display preferences: standard or discreet mode, which phase to highlight, and colour theme
- Tap Done
Removing a Widget
To remove a Lova widget:
- iOS: Long-press the widget → tap Remove Widget → confirm
- Android: Long-press the widget → drag it to Remove at the top of the screen
Removing a widget doesn't delete any of your Lova data.
