Setting Up the App
Get Lova installed and configured on your device in just a few minutes.
Download Lova
Download Lova from your platform's app store:
Open and Start
When you first open Lova:
No account needed
Lova has no account or sign-in. You open the app and start tracking, and your tracking entries are stored in an encrypted database on your device.
Basic Configuration
The app will ask a few optional questions to personalize your experience:
Typical cycle length
Your average cycle (or leave default)
Last period date
When your most recent period started
Tracking goals
Cycle awareness, TTC, or general health
All of these can be changed later in Settings.
Set Up Security (Recommended)
Protect your data with app lock:
Go to Settings → Security
Enable App Lock
Choose PIN, pattern, or biometric (Face ID/fingerprint)
Set auto-lock timeout
Start Tracking
You're ready to go! Start by:
Optional: Import Data
If you're coming from another period tracker:
Export data from your old app (CSV or JSON)
Go to Settings → Your Data → Import
Select your export file
Review and confirm the import
