Privacy-preserving infrastructure for women's health research.
Standards-based, consent-first, and built for longitudinal data from day one.
Research without surveillance.
Women's health is one of the most under-researched areas of medicine — and one of the most sensitive. Most attempts to close that gap ask women to trade privacy for progress: pour your data into our platform, and trust us with the rest. We think that trade is why so many women opt out.
Lova's architecture flips the default. Because health data lives on each woman's device — not on our servers — there is no central pool of records for anyone to mine. Research can only ever use what a woman explicitly, knowingly chooses to contribute. Consent isn't a checkbox on our side; it's the only way data exists on ours at all.
What partnership looks like
The principles that shape every research conversation we have.
Consent before data
Research contributions are opt-in, purpose-specific, and revocable. A woman knows what she's sharing, with whom, and why — before anything moves.
On-device by default
There's no standing database of user records to query. Data exists for research only after a user deliberately shares it — a structural guarantee, not a policy.
De-identified and aggregate potential
We're interested in collaboration models built on de-identified, aggregate contributions — insight into patterns across life stages, never a window into an individual life.
Standards-based datasets
Shared data uses FHIR-based structures, so contributed datasets are consistent, well-defined, and usable alongside existing research tooling.
A longitudinal view
One companion spanning cycle, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause makes consented, long-horizon questions possible — the kind women's health research has rarely been able to ask.
Honest boundaries
Lova is a wellness companion, not a medical device, and we won't dress wellness data up as clinical evidence. We'd rather understate than overstate.
Exploring a study or collaboration?
We're early in this work, and we choose partners carefully. If you're a researcher or clinician interested in privacy-preserving, consent-first women's-health data, we'd love to compare notes.
Lova is a wellness and health-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
