Do you collect any of my health data?

No. We literally cannot collect your health data because it never leaves your device. There's no server, no database, no way for us to access it.

What about analytics and crash reports?

We use Plausible Analytics for basic website stats (page views only, no cookies, no personal data). The app itself sends zero data back to us - not even crash reports unless you explicitly choose to share them.

Can law enforcement access my data?

We cannot provide what we don't have. Since your data exists only on your device, we have nothing to hand over. This is by design.

What happens if you get acquired?

Even if Lova is acquired, your data remains on your device. We cannot 'sell' your health data because we never had it. The architecture ensures this permanently.

How do I verify these claims?

You can use network monitoring tools to verify no health data is transmitted. Try using the app in airplane mode - everything works because everything is local. We encourage verification.

Sign in securely with Apple, Google, or your email. Your authentication is handled by trusted providers — we never store your password. Your health data stays on your device, separate from your account credentials.

3. No Tracking, No Analytics

The app doesn't contain any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting code. We don't know how you use the app, what features you like, or how often you open it.

4. No Advertising, Ever

We will never show you ads. We will never sell data to advertisers. We will never partner with data brokers. This is a permanent commitment.

5. Verifiable Privacy

Why We Built It This Way

After watching other period tracking apps face FTC fines for sharing user data with advertisers, and seeing privacy fears spike after Roe v. Wade was overturned, we decided to build something different.

The only way to guarantee privacy is to never have the data in the first place. That's not a limitation - it's our core feature.
