Battery Drain
Optimize Lova's battery usage on your device.
Normal Battery Usage
Lova is designed to be battery-efficient:
- • No constant background syncing
- • No cloud connections
- • Local notifications only
- • Typically uses <1% battery per day
1 Check Actual Usage
Before troubleshooting, verify Lova is the cause:
iOS
Settings → Battery → scroll to find Lova
Android
Settings → Battery → Battery Usage → Lova
ℹ️
Privacy = Efficiency
Because Lova doesn't sync to servers, it uses less battery than apps that constantly upload data.
2 Close the App Properly
If Lova stays in memory:
- Fully close (swipe away from app switcher)
- Don't just press home
3 Disable Background Refresh (iOS)
If you don't need widgets or complications:
- 1 Settings → General → Background App Refresh
- 2 Turn off for Lova
⚠️
Widget Impact
This may affect widgets and notifications.
4 Check Notification Settings
Frequent notifications use battery:
- Reduce notification frequency if set very high
- Daily reminders are fine
- Hourly reminders use more power
5 Widget Battery Usage
Home screen widgets refresh periodically:
- More widgets = more battery
- Remove widgets you don't check often
- One widget is usually fine
6 Report Unusual Drain
If Lova uses more than 5% daily:
- 1 Screenshot your battery usage stats
- 2 Note device model and OS version
- 3 Report via Settings → Help → Report Issue
💡
Comparison
Compare with other apps. If Lova shows 2% and social media shows 25%, Lova isn't the problem.
