What is the Privacy Audit Log?
The Privacy Audit Log is a transparent record of:
- What permissions Lova has requested
- What device features are accessed
- Any network activity (spoiler: there isn't any for your data)
- Data export and sync events

The audit log lets you verify that Lova truly keeps your data local. You can see that no health data leaves your device.
Accessing the Audit Log

Open Lova

Go to Settings → Privacy

Tap "Privacy Audit Log"

View the chronological list of events
Understanding Log Entries
Permission Events
Shows when permissions were requested or changed:
Notifications: Permission to send reminders
Bluetooth: For device-to-device sync
Local Network: For WiFi sync with other devices
Calendar: Optional integration (if enabled)
Sync Events
Records when data moves between your devices:
- • Sync initiated (which device)
- • Data transferred (size, not content)
- • Sync completed or failed
- • No server involvement logged
Network Activity
What you'll see in network logs:
App updates: Checking for updates (no data sent)
Medical content: Fetching educational articles (anonymous)
Your health data: Nothing. Zero. Never.

Technical Verification
iOS Verification
Use iOS's built-in App Privacy Report:
- 1. Settings → Privacy & Security → App Privacy Report
- 2. Find Lova in the list
- 3. See all network activity and permissions
Android Verification
Use Android's Privacy Dashboard:
- 1. Settings → Privacy → Privacy Dashboard
- 2. View Lova's permission usage
- 3. Check for any unexpected access
