Choose date range and data types to include

4

Tap Export and share with your provider

What is FHIR?

FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is the modern standard for health data exchange. When you export as FHIR:

  • Your doctor can import it into their EHR system
  • Data is structured and standardized
  • Works with most modern healthcare systems
💡

For Appointments

For routine appointments, "Last 6 months" usually provides enough context. For fertility consultations or investigating irregularities, export all data.

Choose Date Range

Select what to include:

  • All data: Your complete history
  • Last 6 months: Recent cycles
  • Last year: One year of data
  • Custom range: Specific dates

Select Data Types

Choose what to include:

  • Cycle data: Period dates, lengths, flow
  • Symptoms: Logged symptoms and their timing
  • BBT data: Temperature readings
  • Fertility signs: Cervical mucus, OPKs
  • Notes: Your written observations

Sharing with Your Doctor

Option 1: Email Before Appointment

  1. Export the FHIR file
  2. Email it to your provider's patient portal or office
  3. Reference it during your appointment

Option 2: Bring to Appointment

  1. Export to a USB drive
  2. Or print the PDF summary
  3. Give it to your provider at the appointment
ℹ️

Ask Your Provider

Not all providers have systems that import FHIR directly. Even if they can't import it, they can view the structured data in the file.

Privacy Considerations

Remember: once you share the export file, it's outside Lova's protection. Consider:

  • Use secure email or patient portals when possible
  • Delete email attachments after delivery
  • Only share what's necessary for your visit
