Deleting Your Data

You have complete control over your data. Here's how to delete it.

Your Data, Your Control

Because Lova stores data only on your device, you have complete control over deletion:

  • No data on our servers to worry about
  • Delete instantly without waiting for server processing
  • No "data deletion requests" needed
  • What you delete is truly gone
⚠️

Deletion is Permanent

Deleted data cannot be recovered. Consider exporting a backup before deleting anything important.

Before You Delete

Consider these steps first:

1
Export a backup
Settings → Export → Full Backup
2
Save to secure location
Store the backup file safely
3
Verify backup works
Check you can open the file

Partner Shared Data

If you've shared data with a partner:

  • • Deleting data on your device removes it from yours only
  • • Previously synced data remains on their device
  • • They must delete their copy separately
  • • Future syncs won't restore deleted data

Cannot Undo

Remember: Lova has no cloud backup. Once deleted:

  • • It cannot be recovered by us
  • • It cannot be recovered by you (unless you have a backup)
  • • There is no "restore from cloud" option

This is a feature, not a bug - it ensures your privacy.
