Export from Your Old App
First, export your data from your current period tracker. Look for options like:
- • "Export Data" or "Download Data" in settings
- • "Data Portability" or "Your Data"
- • GDPR data request (EU users)
Common Apps
- Flo: Settings → My Data → Download My Data
- Clue: Settings → Account → Download My Data
- Period Tracker: Settings → Backup → Export
Import in Lova
Map Fields
If needed, Lova will ask you to confirm how columns map to data:
- • Period start date
- • Period end date (optional)
- • Flow intensity (optional)
- • Symptoms (optional)
Review and Confirm
- 1. Preview the data to be imported
- 2. Check for any issues or warnings
- 3. Tap Import to complete
Platform-Specific Imports
Apple Health (iOS)
- 1. Go to Settings → Your Data → Import
- 2. Tap Import from Apple Health
- 3. Grant permission when prompted
- 4. Select date range to import
- 5. Confirm import
Google Fit (Android)
- 1. Go to Settings → Your Data → Import
- 2. Tap Import from Google Fit
- 3. Sign in if prompted
- 4. Select date range
- 5. Confirm import
One-Time Sync
These imports are one-time data transfers. Your data is copied locally and then exists only on your device - no ongoing connection to Apple or Google.
